Make your booth the loudest one on the floor.
Tradeshows are loud, expensive, and forgettable — except when something at a booth makes attendees stop and look. PingBell turns your demo count, lead-scan total, or signup tally into that something. A live counter on the booth TV ticks up every time a rep gives a demo, scans a badge, or captures a lead. Attendees walking past see the number climbing. The booth feels alive. The team chasing the number is having more fun than the booth across the aisle.
It’s also a way to make the show a real game. A team goal of 200 demos, a milestone celebration at every 50 — and the rep who scans the lead that crosses 100 wins something fun.
Who this is for
- Field marketing teams running booths at large industry shows.
- B2B SaaS sales teams at vertical-specific conferences.
- Hardware companies demoing physical products at expos.
- Recruiting teams at career fairs counting candidate signups.
- Multi-show event programs comparing booth performance across shows.
How PingBell solves it
Connect your lead-capture flow. Most tradeshow lead capture goes through a badge scanner (Cvent LeadCapture, Eventbrite Boost, the show’s iLeads system) or a signup form (Typeform, HubSpot Forms, Salesforce Web-to-Lead). All of these support Zapier or direct webhooks. Each new lead increments the counter.
Demo counter, lead counter, or signup counter. Pick whichever number the team is chasing. Some teams count completed demos (rep manually clicks “demo done” in their app). Others count badge scans (every interaction). Some count net-new MQL signups only. All work the same way.
Visible to attendees AND to the team. The big number on the booth TV is for attendees (“look how many people are demoing this”). The mobile push to every rep’s phone is for the team (“we just hit 50, six to go to lunch goal”).
Multi-show roll-up. Running multiple shows in a quarter? Aggregate all booth events into a “field marketing total this quarter” counter for the marketing leader’s office TV.
Setup in 5 minutes
- Set up a PingBell. Name it (“Demos at Booth 412” or “Conference leads today”), set a goal (e.g., 200), pick the metric.
- Connect it to a source. Zapier trigger from your badge scanner, lead-capture app, or signup form. Direct webhook from custom flows.
- Install the PingBell mobile and TV apps. iOS, Android, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, or Roku.
- Scan the QR. Plug a streaming device into the booth TV (or use a portable monitor + Fire Stick). Open the TV app, scan the QR with the booth lead’s phone.
- Pick the PingBell to show. Watch the booth get loud.

FAQ
Which badge-scanner / lead-capture systems work?
Most major show platforms — Cvent LeadCapture, Eventbrite, Bizzabo, RingLead — have Zapier integrations. Custom-built flows can POST to PingBell’s webhook directly. If you’re using the show’s built-in iLeads system, Zapier or a CSV-poll Zap usually works.
Counter resets per day or per show?
Both work. Reset daily for daily goals, or run a single counter for the whole show duration. Many teams run both — one daily counter on the booth TV, plus a multi-day total for the booth lead’s awareness.
Can the counter show different numbers to attendees vs. staff?
Yes. Run two counters: one attendee-facing (the public demo count on the booth TV) and a private team counter (e.g. qualified-leads-only, daily goal progress) that’s visible to staff on their phones.
What about hot-lead vs. cold-lead distinction?
Filter by lead-tier tag in the source config. Run one counter for “all interactions” and a second for “qualified hot leads” — useful for measuring booth-conversion quality, not just volume.
Can the team see the counter on their phones away from the booth?
Yes. Every team member with the PingBell mobile app sees the live count and gets push notifications when goals are hit. Useful when reps are roaming the show floor between booth shifts.
