PingBell
Android TV

PingBell for Android TV.

Always on KPI counter for any Google TV, Chromecast, Nvidia Shield, or Onn streamer. Full-screen, always on, and 10 minutes from now your team is staring at the number that matters.

Dominate the screen behind your team.

Works on every Android TV device

Google TV, Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield, Onn 4K Pro, Walmart streaming, and any smart TV running Android TV.

Boots straight into the counter

Once paired, the app launches the last-used counter on every power-on. No menu navigation when the office opens.

Always-on display

Disables screen savers and dimming while the counter is up. Runs all day, every day.

Sharp typography at 1080p or 4K

The counter renders at native resolution. Big, legible numbers visible from across the room.

Multi-counter rotation

Rotate up to five counters with custom dwell times on a single screen. Or run a single fixed counter.

Same as our other TV apps

PingBell behaves identically across Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku. Pick the platform you already have.

Android TV questions.

Which Android TV devices are supported? +

Any device running Android TV 10 or later. That includes Google TV, Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield, Onn 4K Pro, Mi Box, and most smart TVs from TCL, Sony, Hisense, and Philips with Google TV built in.

Is this the same as the Android phone app? +

No. The Android TV app is a separate download with a large-screen, always-on UI for office display. The Android phone app is for push notifications. Most teams install both.

Is the app free? +

Yes. Free download from the Google TV / Google Play store. A PingBell account is required to pair it with a counter — 7-day free trial, paid plans from $10/mo.

Can I use a Chromecast with Google TV? +

Yes. PingBell installs natively on Chromecast with Google TV (4K and HD versions). The remote works for navigation; the dongle stays plugged into the office TV.

Can I lock the device to PingBell only? +

Yes, via Android TV kiosk mode or an MDM (Knox, AirDroid, etc.). Contact support for a setup guide.
