PingBell
Roku

PingBell for Roku.

Runs on any Roku Streaming Stick, Ultra, or Roku TV. Install the channel, scan the QR from your phone — and 10 minutes from now your team is staring at the number that matters.

The most popular streaming platform in the US, now broadcasting your KPIs.

Works on every Roku device

Streaming Stick, Streaming Stick 4K, Roku Ultra, Roku Express, plus TVs with Roku built in.

Boots straight into the counter

After first pairing, the channel launches into the last-used counter on every power-on.

Always-on display

Overrides the screen saver while a counter is active. The number stays up through the full workday.

Large, legible typography

Counter renders at 1080p or 4K depending on your device. Readable from the back of the room.

Multi-counter rotation

Configure a rotation of up to five counters with custom dwell times. Perfect for tracking multiple KPIs on one screen.

Same as our other TV apps

PingBell behaves identically across Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku. Pick the platform you already have.

Roku questions.

Which Roku devices are supported? +

Every current-generation Roku streaming device (Streaming Stick, Stick 4K, Stick 4K+, Ultra, Express, Express 4K) running Roku OS 10.5 or later, plus TVs with Roku OS built in. Older models (Roku 1, 2, 3) are end-of-lifed and not supported.

Is the channel free? +

Yes. The PingBell channel is free on the Roku Channel Store. A PingBell account is required to pair it with a counter — 7-day free trial, paid plans from $10/mo.

Can I buy a Roku used? +

Yes. Refurbished Roku devices work fine with PingBell. For office use we recommend buying new (warranty matters when it is on a conference-room wall).

Will it affect WiFi performance at the office? +

No. A single counter display uses less than 100KB per update. Roku devices sip bandwidth, closer to a smart thermostat than a streaming device.

Can I lock the Roku to only show PingBell? +

Partially — Roku does not have a full kiosk mode like Fire TV does, but after first pairing the channel auto-launches on power-on and suppresses the screen saver. Most offices find this good enough.

Roku vs. Fire TV — which should I use? +

Either works identically well with PingBell. Pick the ecosystem your team already has. PingBell behaves the same on both.
