How is PingBell priced? +
Flat and predictable — never per screen, and we quote the exact number on a short walkthrough call so it fits your team and location count instead of forcing you into a public tier. Month to month, no long-term contracts.
Do you charge per screen? +
No. Every plan includes unlimited paired screens. We charge per account, not per TV. Pairing takes seconds: the TV app shows a short code, you enter it on your Screens page — that is it.
What's the difference between a board, a channel, and a screen? +
A board is a single styled page — text, a counter, a leaderboard, a menu, an image, weather, whatever you want on the screen. A channel is a playlist of boards with per-board order and dwell time, rotating on the same display. A screen is the physical device — TV, tablet, projector, monitor, browser tab — that you pair to your account.
What does a "channel" mean, and how do Plus and Pro differ? +
A channel is a rotating playlist of boards on one screen — you set the order and the dwell time per slide. Plus includes one channel: build it once and cast the same rotation to every screen. To run different content on different screens (lobby vs. pool vs. sales floor), you need Pro and its unlimited channels.
Can I design my own boards, or only use templates? +
Core is fill-in: pick a ready-made template — counter, menu, promo — and customize the text, colors and sounds. To build a board from scratch and add, move or resize any block, you need the full board designer on Plus or Pro.
Is there a setup fee? +
Setup with us is white-glove: we install it together, connect your data sources, and tune the boards and sounds for your room. How that is handled is part of the pricing conversation.
Can I change plans or cancel later? +
Yes. Plans are month to month — upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime. Your boards, sources and history are kept, so coming back later means turning the screens back on, not rebuilding.
I'm already a PingBell customer — does any of this change my plan? +
No. Existing plans and prices are untouched, permanently. Manage your subscription any time from Settings in the app.
