What counts as a "counter"? +
One counter is one KPI you are tracking — like "revenue today" or "demos booked this week". Every counter is independently brandable, independently broadcastable, and counts separately toward your plan limit. Team members viewing the same counter on multiple screens is free and unlimited.
Does PingBell charge per user? +
No. We charge for what you broadcast, not for the number of people who see it. Each plan includes a fixed number of team members; viewing a counter on a TV in your office never counts as a billed seat.
Do I need the Fire TV Stick / Apple TV / Roku to use PingBell? +
No. You can run the PingBell counter in any web browser, on any iPhone or Android, or on any TV with our native apps. The streaming-stick story is our favorite because it is cheap and reliable — but a laptop pointed at a browser tab works fine too.
Can I try it before paying? +
Yes. Sign up for free — no credit card needed — and explore the dashboard, the apps, and the integrations. When you are ready to start the 7-day trial and broadcast real data, you will add a card. We do not charge during the trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you are not charged; otherwise your card is billed for the plan you selected on the day the trial ends.
What happens at the end of the trial? +
If you do nothing, your card is charged for the plan you picked when you started the trial and your counters keep running uninterrupted. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged — your counters pause, your dashboards go quiet, and nothing is deleted for 60 days. You can re-activate any time within that window by adding a payment method.
Can I change plans later? +
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. Billing is prorated.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits? +
Yes. Email [email protected] with your tax ID and we will set up a discount.
