Loyalty Program Signup Counter

A live counter on the front desk or back-of-house TV showing every new loyalty signup, mailing list addition, or members-club join. Turn list-building into a team sport.

Turn list-building into a team sport.

Every restaurant, hotel, gym, spa, and retail shop runs a loyalty program. Every one of them tracks signups in some quiet dashboard nobody on the floor team ever opens. The host who got a guest to scan the QR, the bartender who slipped the loyalty card with the check, the front-desk agent who upsold a member rate — none of them feel the win.

PingBell makes the win visible. Every new loyalty signup, every email-list join, every members-club add triggers a live counter on a screen the team walks past. A sound on the manager’s phone. A weekly leaderboard. The team starts paying attention to a number they could never see before.

Who this is for

  • Restaurants and bars running text-club or app-based loyalty programs.
  • Hotels with a loyalty tier or club-rate signup.
  • Gyms and studios tracking members-only list growth alongside paid signups.
  • Retail shops building an email list at checkout.
  • Service businesses (salons, spas, repair shops) running referral or membership programs.

How PingBell solves it

Works with the loyalty tools you already use. Whether you’re on a dedicated loyalty platform (Stamped, Smile, Yotpo Loyalty, Toast Loyalty, OpenTable Reserve), an email tool (Mailchimp, Kit, MailerLite), or a custom-built signup form, the integration is the same: Zapier trigger or direct webhook into PingBell.

The number where the team can see it. A back-of-house TV on the kitchen pass, a small display behind the host stand, a monitor at the front desk. The counter ticks up every time a new member joins. The team starts noticing patterns: which shifts add the most, which staff members are best at the ask.

Daily, weekly, monthly resets. Reset the counter daily for “today’s signups”, weekly for shift competitions, or monthly for staff bonuses. Goals are configurable per counter.

Setup in 5 minutes

  1. Set up a PingBell. Name it (“Loyalty signups today” or similar), pick the metric, set a goal.
  2. Connect it to a source. Zapier trigger from your loyalty platform, ESP, or signup form. Direct webhook for custom flows.
  3. Install the PingBell mobile and TV apps. iOS, Android, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, or Roku.
  4. Scan the QR. Open the TV app on the back-of-house screen, scan with the manager’s phone.
  5. Pick the PingBell to show. Watch the numbers grow.

FAQ

Which loyalty platforms can I connect?

Most have Zapier triggers. Specifically supported: Smile.io, Yotpo Loyalty, Stamped, Toast Loyalty, Square Loyalty, OpenTable, Resy, and any ESP-based loyalty list (Mailchimp, Kit, MailerLite, Klaviyo).

Can I track multiple lists separately?

Yes. Create a counter per list. Show them rotating on the same TV, or run them on separate displays.

Can I show the counter to customers?

Yes. Some restaurants put it lobby-facing as social proof (“47 people joined our loyalty program this week — ask us how”). Others keep it back-of-house for staff-only motivation. Both work.

Does it count unsubscribes?

You can run a separate “unsubscribes” counter and subtract it from the gross. Most operators don’t bother — they focus on net adds at the end of the month.

What about double-opt-in?

By default the counter increments on signup. If your platform fires a separate “confirmed” event, you can switch to that for a stricter count.
