How to receive custom notifications and use a KPI counter for Pipedrive

Every time a deal moves stages or closes in Pipedrive, get a push on every team phone and a live tick on the office TV. Setup via Pipedrive's webhook automations.

Pipedrive is the CRM of choice for high-velocity sales teams — clean UI, fast setup, and a flexible automation engine. The one thing it doesn’t do well: tell your team about wins as they happen. PingBell fills that gap. Every deal-stage change becomes a sound on every team phone and a tick on the office TV.

What is PingBell?

PingBell is a web and mobile app that lets you create custom notifications for events on websites and apps — including Pipedrive. We don’t ship a native PingBell-Pipedrive OAuth app; we use Pipedrive’s built-in webhook automations to forward events to PingBell, which works just as well.

Step 1: Create a PingBell

Sign up. Visit PingBell.io and create a free account. From the dashboard, click the button in the middle to create your first PingBell.

Configure it. Set a title and description that match the trigger (“Deal closed”, “New Opportunity”). Pick a sound from PingBell’s library. Invite teammates by username or email so they get the same alert on their own phones.

Edit later. Click the bell icon (bottom right) to make a new PingBell, or the three dots and pencil icon to edit one.

Step 2: Set up the trigger in Pipedrive

Pipedrive has webhook automations built in. You don’t need Zapier for this.

Open Automations. In Pipedrive, click the three dots in the left sidebar and select Automations.

Create a new webhook. In the automations area, choose Webhooks and create a new webhook.

Pick a trigger. Common picks: Deal added, Deal stage changed, or Deal won. Filter to a specific pipeline or stage if you want to count only certain transitions.

Copy your PingBell URL. Back in PingBell, click the three dots next to your PingBell and Copy URL.

Paste into Pipedrive. Paste the PingBell URL into the webhook’s URL field and save.

That’s it. Test with a sample deal to confirm the bell rings.

Step 3: Customize the counter view

Open the view. Click the celebration icon next to your PingBell. Hover the right side of the screen to reveal the settings menu.

Enable the visual counter. Toggle it on.

Customize. Pick a message style (static, disappearing message, disappearing bubble), pick a Google Font, set the background / font / counter / counter-text colors. Set a baseline if you want the counter to start at an existing total deal count.

Step 4: View analytics

Click the graph icon next to any PingBell to see how often it fired in the past 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. Useful for spotting trends in your deal velocity.

Try it

Start a free 7-day trial, wire it into Pipedrive, and the next deal that closes will ring a bell across the team.

Put your most important numbers on every screen your team sees.
