How to receive push notifications from Shopify with PingBell

Recommended: install the Shopify app

Visit the PingBell app on the Shopify App Store, click Install, and authorize the app. PingBell handles webhook setup automatically. You then connect your store to a PingBell counter from inside the app.

Alternative: manual webhook

If you'd rather configure the webhook by hand:

1. In PingBell, click the three dots next to a PingBell and select Copy URL.
2. In Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Notifications.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Notifications page and click Create webhook.
4. Pick the event you want to track (most stores choose Order creation or Order paid).
5. Paste your PingBell URL into the URL field.
6. Click Save.

Test by placing a $0 order or sending a webhook test from Shopify's webhook UI. The PingBell should ring.
